If after looking at my work you like what you see and feel you'd like to work with me, here's what you need to know:

Firstly, whether you are an experienced professional model or a complete beginner, you can be assured that you will be treated with the utmost respect and courtesy. Your welfare is paramount; you will never be asked to do anything that you are either physically of emotionally uncomfortable with. Naturally you may bring a chaperone to a shoot, the only proviso is that they don't distract or interfere with the actual creative process.

Whilst much of my work is outdoors and entails a good deal of clambering about in unusual places, you don't need to be a contortionist! However a sense of adventure and a sense of humour help! In any case, I see the production of successful images as a collaboration between artist and model. Your input and ideas are welcome.

I am willing to work with individuals who are not professional models - a lack of experience is not a barrier to working with me. A basic desire to create something artistic and a positive enthusiastic attitude go a long way. A good figure is obviously an advantage but you definitely won't need to be a supermodel - I prefer to work with a genuine human being! There is also the possibility of remaining anonymous. I am aware that some women may not want to be recognized, particularly if they are not professional models. Within the genre of artistic / fine art nudes, this isn't a problem as the figure is often expressed as an abstract form.

WORK WITH NEW / INEXPERIENCED MODELS:
In this instance I tend to work on a TFP/TFCD + profit share basis. That means essentially I trade my time for yours. In practice the time I spend actually shooting is only a small part of the time it takes to put together a set of images. Sifting through, selecting and editing images takes far longer. (I'm fussy, I know)! In addition I am not a glamour photographer; I seek to create art which is a less lucrative but more satisfying path. Thus it is not usually practical for me to pay you directly. However if you work with me you will typically receive:

1. A CD of 20 - 40 hand edited images, (depending on the length of the shoot)
2. Reasonable traveling expenses (sorry, flying business class is out)!
3. Subsistence - typically lunch & refreshments
4. A 30% share of any profits from the sale of any images in which you feature (I can't promise to make you rich but there is the possibility of some remuneration if you agree to the commercial use of images)
5. A warm welcome, a relaxed & enjoyable experience and a smile on your face when you leave

WORK WITH EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONAL MODELS
I sometime offer paid shoots to models who can demonstrate substantial experience of artistic nudes and a good understanding of the genre i.e. knowing 'how' to model. Payment would be negotiated on an individual basis in each case.

Part paid / part TFCD shoots are also possible - basically whatever your level of experience, if you have the spirit and enthusiasm to do this, we can work something out.
